Qualifying Puerto Rico resident accredited investors in a Puerto Rico Private Equity Fund Series may be eligible for the following tax treatment under an Act 60 decree:
- 60% deduction on the amount invested, spread over 15 years (subject to annual limitations).
- Enjoy a preferential tax rate of 10% for dividend or interest income0% tax rate for capital gains on eligible in-kind contributions.
This structure is designed to complement existing advisory, estate planning, and tax planning services for qualifying clients.
